These terms govern the use of luxcars.rent. The rental contract itself is set out in our Distance Agreement.
This website is operated by SIA Luxcars ("Luxcars", "we", "us"), a company registered in the Republic of Latvia.
These Terms of Use govern your use of luxcars.rent and the information and booking tools on it. They are not the rental contract itself. When you book a vehicle or a chauffeur transfer, a separate contract is concluded between you and Luxcars — see our Distance Agreement, which sets out the terms of the rental.
By using this website you accept these Terms of Use. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
All text, layout, design and photography on this website belong to Luxcars or are used with permission, and may not be copied, republished or used commercially without our written consent.
About the vehicle images. Some images of our fleet are digitally created representations produced from photographs of our own vehicles. They are intended to show the model, body style and colour of the car you are booking. Minor details such as wheels, trim or optional equipment may differ from the specific vehicle supplied. If an exact specification matters to you, please ask us before booking and we will confirm it in writing.
Vehicle photographs and descriptions are illustrative and do not form part of the rental contract unless expressly confirmed by us.
Prices shown on this website are per hour or per day depending on the vehicle, in euro (EUR), and are the rate for the vehicle itself. The total for your dates is shown once you select a rental period.
Selecting a vehicle and a rental period and completing checkout constitutes an offer by you to rent that vehicle. A contract arises only when we confirm the booking to you by email. We may decline a booking — for example if the vehicle is no longer available, if driver requirements are not met, or if we cannot verify the booking details.
Booking and payment are handled through our booking provider, Booqable, on our own subdomain book.luxcars.rent. Your booking data is processed there in order to create and manage your rental.
To rent a self-drive vehicle you must hold a valid, unrestricted driving licence of the appropriate category and present it, together with an identity document, when the vehicle is handed over.
You agree not to use this website unlawfully, not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, not to interfere with its operation, and not to extract its content by automated means for commercial purposes.
This website runs on Shopify and its booking, cart and checkout are provided by Booqable. Payment, where taken, is processed by our payment provider — we do not store your full card details. These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and security standards.
We take care to keep the information on this site accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it is free of errors or that the site will always be available.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be limited under Latvian law. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
We may update these Terms of Use. The version published on this page at the time you use the site is the version that applies, and the date it was last updated is shown at the top. Changes do not affect a rental contract already concluded.
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Latvia.
If something is wrong, please contact us first at info@luxcars.rent — most matters are resolved quickly and directly. If we cannot resolve it, a consumer may apply to the Consumer Rights Protection Centre (Patērētāju tiesību aizsardzības centrs, PTAC), Brīvības iela 55, Riga, ptac.gov.lv. Disputes not settled out of court fall to the courts of the Republic of Latvia.
